with sprinklings of you
My living situation is changing, my two jobs are changing. Thankfully, I’m not dating anyone or I’m sure that would be changing as well :). It would seem that life has a way of clumping trials together. I got some kind of fever Thursday and Friday, and I can tell you first hand that makes for a very unpleasant moving situation.
I think what’s probably hardest for me about being sick, is sitting there not doing anything. Ironically enough that’s probably why I got sick in the first place.
I am constantly pushing myself and unfortunately, without any rest or the proper pacing, I sometimes do more damage then good- a truth I am trying desperately to learn. I have goals, I have vision, and unfortunately sometimes forget to stop and enjoy the journey to my destination.
With my 3 life transitions as of late though, I’m hoping this will no longer be the case. I adjusted my living situation to lower bills. Lower bills will allow me to save more money and work less hours. Working less hours will let me do the things I really care about- cause ladies and gentlemen, working at a law office is not the cookie from my cutter. Its certainly someone else’s.
Working less at my second job will let me work with the youth more. I’m very excited about that. The extra time will also let me put more into accomplishing my goals. I’m tempted to add onto my list of goals now that I have more time.. but I think I should definitely wait on that. Oh and, since I only posted my goals on my xanga, I’ve reposted them below, in no particular order:
I forgot I had already accomplished the Amazing Race audition. That’s exciting. I think the next item I’m actively working on is number 1.
I’ve rambled enough.
feel free to leave thoughts, suggestions, a ‘hi’ below!
This blog is a place for people to openly discuss their beliefs and thoughts on a variety of subjects. Sometimes the blog will be serious, other times humorous, and still other times a blend of both. Whatever it is in content, I hope that as you read my posts, you feel welcome to share your thoughts and discuss them with others. My first blog, wwww.xanga.com/resplendentRachel was a place where i was able to grow in my writing skills, convictions and beliefs. I hope this blog will do the same for me and and the same for you. All i ask is that you have any open mind to all that's presented and I will try my best to do the same for you :). As a quick side note, even if you dont know me, or have any idea of who I am or what I'm about, please feel free to comment. I love meeting new people so you will most certainly make my day :).

I have always wanted to try number 2, although I need to read the Bible all the way through first.

oh my gosh. i am marrying you. i mean, my fiance is just like you. well, except he could cross off playing gospel proficiently. but what i mean is, he too pushes himself to accomplish somekind of goal at times to the detriment of himself…
i will push myself to achieve a goal, it’s just that i try to avoid setting any….. huh.

I, like Simon, would be glad to help you with some of these - or would like to assume them into my list (thanks for the work! I’ll take advantage and do the add on myself, heh heh - mainly #’s 2-9…)
I’m proud of you for making the moves you most recently have made. I know God is proud of his little girl, too. I just recommend “simplify”…simplify…and simplify! That will add to your time (and SPACE!)
